Over 32 years ago, we came to Mexico to assist in the mission endeavors sponsored by Missionary Larry Myers. We wanted to share with others the grace that our loving Savior had shown us as we reached out to Him by faith. For by grace are we saved through faith … not by works least any man should boast. Eph. 2:8,9. We also knew that God’s Word teaches that faith by itself, without works is dead. What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? James 2:14, 17. We understood that life here in Mexico would require a lot of both physical and spiritual work.
Much of what we do is to help equip pastors and the local churches in Mexico through the Bible Institute, children’s ministry, conferences, etc., but many times we are constructing church buildings, homes for widows or homes for pastors to improve their standard of living.
Even though sometimes it may be difficult, we count it a privilege to work hard. We feel it is an important responsibility to do all we can to spread to others the Good News of Jesus Christ by word and deed. Many of you have caught that vision and have helped in so many ways here in Mexico. The photos in our newsletter show many examples of groups having faith and works. Though all of you cannot personally come here, your prayers and offerings are just as important. Many thanks to each of you!
May God bless you and watch over you!
